President: Anela Panlasigue
Hi! I’m Anela Panlasigue, and I am the President of PPOTA. I’m currently a senior studying Kinesiology hoping to become an occupational therapist. Besides applying for OT school, my other involvements are working as a Rehab Aide for Sparrow Hospital, completing my internship with Sparrow Pediatrics, volunteering with the PLAY’d Lab and MSU Adaptive Sports, and being a TA for KIN 465 (Adaptive Physical Activity). In my free time, I love eating at new places, exploring different cities, working out, and going out with my friends and family.
Vice President: Bailey Honeycutt
Hi I’m Bailey Honeycutt, I’m the Vice President for PPOTA. I am applying to OT graduate schools right now. I am involved in the HBCL lab, Special Olympics, Adaptive Sports, and I’m a course assistant for KIN 217. I like to hike, but also just have some chill movie nights inside!

Hi! My name is Olyvia Smoger and I’m a senior this year studying Human Biology. I’m hoping to go into Physical Therapy after my time at MSU and in the process of applying. I’m currently involved in Greek Life on campus and I am a PT Technician at HealthQuest Physical Therapy in Lake Orion!
Volunteer Chair: Jacobo Mazariegos
Hi! I’m Jacobo Mazariegos and I’m the Volunteer Chair! I’m currently a senior majoring in Kinesiology, I hope to pursue a career in physical therapy. I currently work at Good Life Physical Therapy in Grand Rapids, MI and volunteer in adaptive sports. During my free time, I enjoy working out, cooking, and dancing.
Co-Membership Chair: Nesiah Henderson
Hi my name is Nesiah Henderson. I am a senior and will be graduating at the end of the Fall semester! Ia m on the pre-occupational therapy track. Outside of PPOTA, I am a Rehab Tech at Hope Network. I also am a club member in NSLS, I volunteer at Burcham Hills, and I am a teaching assistant for KIN 217 anatomy lab!
Co-Membership Chair: Adrian Jones
Hi! My name is Adrian Jones and I am one of the membership chairs! I’m a senior majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in Health Promotion. I plan on starting physical therapy school next year! I am currently a Therapy Aide at Orthopedic Rehab Specialists and I’m apart of MSU’s Adaptive Sports.
OT Chair: Arin Hogan
Hi my name is Arin Hogan and I am the Occupational Therapy Chair for PPOTA! I’m hoping to become an occupational therapist one day and plan to work in a rehabilitation center. Some things I have been participating in this past year is volunteering at my church, shadowing OTs nearby, working as a behavior technician this past summer, and now currently a physical therapy aide!
PT Chair: Delaney Dewey-Harney
Hey! I’m Delaney Dewey-Harney and I’m the PT Chair. I’m planning to attend a DPT program in the fall of 2025. My other involvements include Orchesis Dance Company, Best Buddies, and Honors College Service Club. In my free time I love to go swimming in Lake Michigan, hiking, and dancing!
Social Chair: Jennifer Duff
Hi! My name is Jennifer Duff and I am the social chair! I’m interested in pursuing a career in occupational therapy. My involvements include being an active member in my pre-professional fraternity, Phi Epsilon Kappa, volunteering as an undergraduate research assistant for the Human Behaviors and Cognition Lab, and working as a rehabilitation technician at The Recovery Project. In my free time, I love to travel and go on hikes with my friends and family!
Advocacy Chair: Charlotte Pohl
Hi everyone! My name is Charlotte Pohl, and I am the Advocacy Chair for PPOTA! I am currently a senior, and I plan to attend PT school after completing my undergrad here at MSU! I work as a physical therapy aid eat Orthopedic Rehab Specialists, and I am involved in research here at MSU studying the psychological effects of ACL reconstruction surgery! I really enjoy reading, going on walks, and taking spin classes on campus!
